Direct Message is a short film that we put together in 2022 for a film festival called fright films. 

 

Direct Message is about a couple David and Chelsea, who lost their daughter Ansly. Chelsea is very broken up about it and you can tell. David on the other hand, even know you know he is in pain; he tries to hide it in his work. Chelsea receives a message from a random lady on Instagram. Her name is Lady Devine. She goes on to tell Chelsea how to get her daughter back. She has to do many different things to make this happen. She goes from being very down to higher spirited in hopes that what she is being asked to do actually works and brings her closer to seeing her daughter.

 

As she is taking the steps to do so, no matter how strange they may seem, David continues to work and doesn't have a clue. 
Eventually she gets what she's looking for and is reunited with her daughter. 
At the end David is left alone to figure out what happened and where his wife went. 

 

This film is a horror/ suspenseful thriller that will defiantly keep you interested. We were nominated for "Best Sound Design" and "Special Effects" and we took home both awards in 2022.
